Meet the founder
Austin Burkett, M.A., BCBA, IBA
Austin is a behavior analyst – holding the certifications International Behavior Analyst (IBA), and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCBA). He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in developmental psychology from Keiser University and a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Florida Institute of Technology.
Austin is passionate about Precision Teaching and standard measurement. His work spans individuals from 2 to 35+ years old in various settings. Some experience includes working with individuals who have ADHD, autism, oppositional defiance disorder, OCD, anxiety disorders. His professional areas of interest are diverse and include RFT, extreme maladaptive behaviors, sexual behavior, LGBTQIA+ inclusion/education, organizational behavior management, and staff training. Austin firmly believes in adapting to the learner for the highest success as they know best!
Austin is a strong advocate for ABA dissemination, diversity, equity, and inclusion; Austin also wears many professional hats. He serves as a subject matter expert for the BACB, the Program Chair for World Behavior Analysis Day, and is committee member for various organizations related to applied behavior analysis.
In his free time – Austin loves to bake, read books, and when possible go to Disney!
